BMCNE’s Annual Event Supporting Local Charities
On June 7th & 8th the BMCNE will kick off its Annual British Motorcars in Bristol car show that includes a scenic tour around Southern New England, hosting a block party in downtown Bristol, and a public Car Show in an effort to raise money for local charities through car show registrations, vendor booths, area sales, and sponsorships.

Anyone who owns a vintage/specialty vehicle is invited to join Cardone & Daughter Automotive for their Spring Vintage & Specialty Car Event.
Enjoy coffee and donuts in the morning and hot dogs and snacks in the afternoon (while supplies last).
Help feed the neighbors in need! They request you bring a non-perishable food donation for the friends of the Shoreline Soup Kitchen!

BMCNE will hold monthly meetings on the last Tuesday of every month, alternating between Chelo’s Hometown Bar & Grille in Cranston, RI and Rumford, RI.
All friends and members are welcome to attend and share their thoughts and ideas at these meetings. Many of our members show up early to enjoy dinner and socialize before the meeting.

British by the Sea

The CT MG Club’s British by the Sea annual gathering is held at Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford CT on the North shore of Long Island Sound.
This year’s marque of the year is the Triumph TR7 & TR8!
BBTS is a popular vote, fun event, with etched glass mugs being presented as awards. We will have 32+ Classes, displayed on our 4 acre field. We want to encourage ALL British car, truck, and motorcycle owners and enthusiasts to attend and have an enjoyable time. Whether your vehicle is in pristine condition, or a daily driver, sparkling paint and chrome or with “Barn Fresh” patina, it deserves to be part of the event and on the display field.

The Bass Pro Shops Cruise Nights with the Mass Cruisers are known throughout New England. Bi-Weekly hundreds of cars, owners and fans attend for FREE and enjoy all the sights and sounds of Patriot Place.
June 13 has been designated British Motorcars of New England night. Joe Cabral has secured a designated BMCNE section. We look forward to seeing you there!

Feel the pride of showing off your British wheels, whether they’re classic or contemporary – we love them all! It’s a great chance to catch up with old pals and maybe even make some new ones.
The fun kicks off at 9 AM and keeps going until 1 PM, with the Museum staying open until 3 PM for your browsing pleasure. And of course, there’ll be tasty food and drinks available to keep you fueled up for the day.

British Parts Swap Meet

BMCNE is sponsoring the All British Auto Parts Swap Meet at the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette. There will be plenty of table or tarp space to display items for sale. Items should be British in nature and can be new or used parts, automobile memorabilia, publications, models, tools, etc.
BMCNE requests a $15 donation for seller table/tarp space. These funds will be used to offset the rental for the swap meet space. And, in the spirit of fulfilling BMCNE’s commitment to local charities, any additional funds will be donated to the Providence Animal Rescue League.

British Car Day

BCD comprises 57 classes of cars and motorcycles Map & Car Classes running the whole range of British automobile marques from Austin to Westfield with model names from Anglia to Zephyr and everything in between. The organizers encourage everyone to bring along their British cars whether they be current model cars, daily drivers, partially restored cars or projects-in-progress, to line up with the many classic and concours-class cars in the appropriate marque and model class. British Car Day® is the opportunity everyone anticipates to chat, to scrutinize, and to plan for next year. It’s a car show but it is also a big, end of season, social event.

They have been working on expanding British Invasion 2024 by adding Vermont Arts & Crafts as a New section, with the hope of attracting more attendees on Saturday and Sunday. Several properties in Stowe have changed hands since last year so we encourage you to book accommodations early.

They love to “motor.” Get ready for Larz Anderson’s inaugural MINI Cooper Day featuring the car that has captured the hearts of automotive enthusiasts since its arrival in the states in 2002. MINIs of every color and style will parade onto the lawn to converge with other MINI enthusiasts. Clubs from around New England and beyond will be cruising in together to meet with other clubs and make new friends throughout the day. Classic Minis, new MINIs, every year, make, and model is welcome!

Tech Session Season is here!
During the winter season BMCNE offers club members interesting and informative “Tech Sessions” durning the winter season. These tech sessions consist of:
Tours of local businesses that sell supplies or services that support the British car hobby.
Technical workshops by local experts that have experience in fixing, restoring and/or modifying British cars.
G.A.P. Sessions (Garage Assistance Program), designed to help club members keep their projects on track. BMCNE can schedule a 3 hour Saturday morning session in a club members garage to help them solve a problem that has sidelined their British car. Contact us for details.
BMCNE supplies the coffee and donuts at all these sessions! We look forward to hearing from you!
