Membership: Chris Young reported 293 total members
Regalia: A design has been chosen for the 40th anniversary logo of the club. It will be on dashboard plaques for the first 200 early registrants, in color and in black and yellow on a T-shirt which will be sold at the show. Woody is doing the silk screening. The coloring will be similar to the MG T-shirts we sold last year.
We are not ordering any new golf shirts or T-shirts to sell this year. Hope to sell what is remaining in stock. We’d like to come up with some new offerings for next year.
Communications: Newsletter; Chris reported we have a 33% open rate.
- GAP session update; A member is looking for Gap session who has a GT 6 looking for help April 13 or 27 in East Greenwich. Send Chris email if you want to be on the GAP committee.
- Check Website for future dates;
- April 6; TWS Motors (formerly the Wedge shop) Taunton, 9-12. Open house afterwards
- April 20; 1914 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost in Little Compton. Jim Eagan and Jay Miller invited BMCNE to recommissioning of Jay’s 1914 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost.

NEMGTR; Gathering of the Faithful (GOF) group coming to the show. We are a chapter of NEMGTR
– Estimating 50 registrations and 30 MG T series cars in the show including pre-war class
– Will have a tent for the group and table for items for sale
– GOF group will do the Friday rides, and the Show on Saturday. They have Friday night gathering of their own

Old Business:
- We will use Zoom Meetings over the winter.
- Swap meeting has been postponed until the spring.
- Lasalette would require a $200 donation to host a swap meet.
- Still looking for Marque articles.
- September 27th is the Mustic Seaport Austin Healey event.
- Woody mentioned that we should do the Shriners show again in 2024. Good reviews from the 2023 show.
- Kathy Barkan asked if there were any plans for the clubs 40th anniversary in 2024.Nothing yet has been set in stone.

Old Business:
• We had 36 cars at the Bass Pro Shop event.
• Looking to do the next event at the end of June
in 2024. With the ability to publicize at our show
the goal is to have 50 cars.
• Ernie, Pat, & Rudy still trying to get the scholarship delivered to the school.
• Alzheimer’s check delivered by Tom Bernier, Ernie Connor & Jim Levesque.
• Show planning will begin in January.
• Mallory & Mike Walsh ride on Aug. 20th was a nice ride and lunch in southwestern CT.
New Business:
• A motion was made and approved to sponsor Ian Clark for $100 in the CT Reliability Ride.
• Sept. 24th F1 Karting event. Details to follow.
• Steve from Springfield would like to have a ride to Jaffry, NH in the spring.
• Still looking for British Marque articles.
– Possible articles: Mallory’s ride, Bass Pro event, Mansfield show.
• Possible fall swap meet.

Regalia: Kathy Barkan reported that all regalia is ready for the show.
Communications: Website looks good. Chris Izzo made the 2nd & 3rd place awards. 1st place awards will be the Yeti cups.
Registrations: Currently show registrations are at 95.
Communications: Chris Izzo and Mallory Walsh reported that Zoom calls for the monthly meetings would be too difficult.
Registrations: Currently show registrations are at 171.
New Business: BMCNE gave 2-$1,000 scholarships for 2 high school seniors continuing their education in automotive repair. Caleb Gilbert currently attending William Davies Career and Technical High and Jamileth Martinez from Bristol Plymouth Regional Technical School. Both plan to attend NE Institute of Technology in East Greenwich, RI.
Ernie Connor stressed the need for assistance at the show for field setup on Friday and ballot counting on Saturday.

New Business: April 20th Tech Session to attempt starting MGA which has been in storage for 30 years. Rick’s Ride is scheduled for May 6th at 10am leaving from Colt State Park. 92 total miles with a shorter option of 60 miles. Chris Izzo & Mallory Walsh will investigate the possibility of getting a camera to use for a Zoom meeting option for the monthly meetings.
Chris Young is working on a demographics map to plot all the location of our current members to better service them. Current locations are:

Ernie reported that to date the scholarship response has been underwhelming. Charley Robinson is getting glasses to add to the show swag bags.
To add to the show regalia, we will be purchasing 10 British Flag bags and scarfs.
Show help is requested for:
Setup crew on Friday.
Regalia to help Kathy on Saturday.
The Best of Show award will be the Michael J. Burns Memorial Award in honor of
Mike’s prior support of our show.
New for the MG anniversary all MG’s will be on the beach end of the field.
Nona is requesting a meeting with Ernie to discuss the optimum location of the
announcers.

Chris & Mallory are investigating a place to add the monthly
meeting minutes to the website.
Regalia Report: Kathy Barkan/Woodie Woods were not in attendance but Tom reported that all hats & polo shirts are ready for the show. Also, the 100 anniversary MG T-shirts. Working on the two gray hats for the scholarship winners.
Old Business: Waiting on confirmation of a Del’s truck for June 10th.
2 new white show tents have arrived.
New Business: Pat Pasel & Rudy Koehle have taken the lead roles for the show scholarship committee.
Alison has created the scholarship application.
Tom reminded everyone of the May 20th Vendors & Fenders gathering at Bristol Plymouth.
April 5th Tom & Ernie are scheduled to meet with Explore Bristol on the show planning.
We are still waiting on the grounds permits.
Chris Izzo to help design the artwork for the 2nd & 3rd place show awards.
Tom has created a relationship with Bristol Plymouth print department and was able to reduce some of the show printing from a quote of $700 to $40.
Will ask the print department to create 2- MG 100 anniversary banners for the show entrance. The 2 banners will be auctioned off in a silent auction the day of the show. These should make some great garage art for some MG owner.
April 29th is a Cars & Coffee at Cardone & Daughters in Old Saybrook CT. BMCNE attendance is encouraged as they are one of our show sponsors and have offered swag tor the show bags.
The new MGT Chapter Coordinator is our own Charley Robinson. Charley will be working with developing the relationship between BMCNE & the MGT Register. Charley will be getting the register to contribute show swag for the show. Coasters & LED flashlight keychains. Charlie congratulation on your new high paying role and for looking after BMCNE in the process!
Tom’s neighbor is selling a 1974 Silver V12 XKE. More info to follow, Get your checkbook ready.

New member Ricky Guertin from Putnam, CT discussed setting up a ride into the Putnam, CT area.
